Food

The Township Trustee may assist eligible clients with food in the form of a purchase order to Kroger (St. Joe Center location) and in accordance with guidelines 2.20.00, 2.20.01. A list of approved items will accompany the purchase order. If the full amount of purchase order is not used, the difference is forfeited.

All residents struggling to meet their basic necessities are encouraged to apply for SNAP (Food Stamps). There are several ways to apply.

Regardless of which method you choose, submitting the application is just the first step in applying for SNAP benefits. You must fax, mail or submit in person all requested documentation. Please list your name and social security number on every document submitted.
