The Township Trustee may assist eligible client with food, in the form of a purchase order to Krogers (St. Joe Center location) and in accordance with guidelines 2.20.00, 2.20.01.
All residents struggling to meet their basic necessities, are encouraged to apply for SNAP (Food Stamps). There are several ways to apply.:
- Submit an application online.
- Have an application mailed to you. Call 1-800-403-0864 to make your request request.
- Apply in person at the local office: 201 E. Rudisill Blvd, Suite 302, Fort Wayne, IN 46807
Regardless of which method you choose, submitting the application is just the first step in applying for SNAP benefits. You must fax, mail or submit in person, all requested documentation. Please list your name and social security number on every document submitted.
